full stack developer for e-commerce discovery

Constructor provides a next-generation search and discovery platform for e-commerce, using in-house transformers and generative LLMs for search, recommendations, and shopping agents. Its platform processes over 1 billion queries daily across 150 languages and approximately 100 countries. The Recommendation Cross-Channel & Offsite Discovery team builds personalized marketing experiences across email, push notifications, ads, and other channels.

• Implement and maintain web application features in collaboration with other engineers;
• Develop customer dashboard features using TypeScript and React;
• Integrate frontend features with backend services built with Python and FastAPI;
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new features and tools for Offsite Discovery;
• Develop and update application functionality with technical and non-technical business partners;
• Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about project progress and developments.

• Strong foundation in client-side JavaScript, computer science, and networking principles;
• Solid experience with TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React;
• Experience building, maintaining, and debugging full-stack web applications;
• Experience with Python and FastAPI, Flask, or Django, or willingness to learn this stack;
• Good understanding of API design principles;
• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA);
• Experience with relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions such as MySQL/PostgreSQL;
• Analytical skills and experience with SQL, ClickHouse, and Athena;
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams;
• Excellent English communication skills;
• Located within or near the WET timezone and available during approximately 9:00 AM–6:00 PM WET core business hours;
• Nice to have: familiarity with serverless design patterns, particularly AWS Lambda; experience working in remote environments.
