full stack developer commodity trading platform

The company develops and supports a large-scale commodity trading platform for an international commodity trading business. The project modernizes the user interface and extends backend functionality to support new business requirements.

• Develop and maintain backend functionality using Java and Spring frameworks;
• Design, implement, and evolve APIs for modern web-based user interfaces;
• Develop a new web UI using Angular;
• Collaborate on redesigning and replacing an existing desktop-based UI;
• Ensure effective integration between frontend and backend components;
• Participate in system and API design discussions;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code;
• Analyze existing functionality and extend it with new features;
• Collaborate with product owners, backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

• 5+ Years of experience with Angular;
• Experience with Java and backend application development;
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting RESTful APIs;
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and modern frontend development;
• Understanding of frontend-backend integration patterns;
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL;
• Familiarity with build tools and dependency management, such as Maven;
• Experience working in a Linux-based development or deployment environment;
• Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and version control;
• Nice to have: A degree or equivalent in Computer Science, hard science, or engineering; good communication skills in English;
• English at C1 Advanced level.
