• Own the stability, reliability, and performance of Scribe’s user-facing platform functionality
• Build and ship features in the Next.js / React frontend, from concept through production
• Translate designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, high-quality UI
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and user advocates to improve the overall platform experience
• Write automated tests and advocate for frontend testing practices across the team
• Improve frontend performance, load times, rendering, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals
• Decide what to build with the PM and designer, then own how it performs

• 5+ Years of frontend engineering experience
• High proficiency with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Strong command of modern HTML and CSS, responsive design, and accessible design
• Strong advocacy for automated testing
• Experience implementing frontend engineering best practices
