frontend developer for banking applications

Banco de Investimento Global is a national bank specializing in savings and investment, with a presence in Portugal, Spain, and Mozambique. It develops critical applications that support internal processes and user interactions, including business tools and administrative platforms.

• Develop web interfaces for internal applications;
• Work with backend teams and business stakeholders;
• Improve usability and user experience;
• Ensure consistency across applications through components, patterns, and UX;
• Contribute to frontend technical design decisions;
• Translate business complexity into simple interfaces.

• At least 3 years of frontend development experience with React, Angular, or equivalent;
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals;
• Experience with REST APIs;
• Knowledge of performance, accessibility, and UI best practices;
• Attention to detail;
• Practical mindset and ability to avoid overengineering;
• Focus on real usability, not only code;
• Nice to have: Higher education in IT or equivalent, experience with CMS such as Umbraco, Sitecore, or Drupal, exposure to design systems or component libraries, experience in regulated environments, especially finance or home banking.
