AlphaSights operates a research platform that delivers solutions to real problems for internal and external customers.

• Define the best technical solutions to business problems and contribute to an architectural vision for a scalable research platform;
• Build and ship frontend code primarily with React, while assessing new technologies that could improve the stack;
• Deploy releases frequently using CircleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD;
• Gather customer feedback to inform subsequent iterations;
• Monitor services, catch errors before users notice them, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes;
• Take ownership of the services managed by the team and align their development with the broader AlphaSights Engineering strategy;
• Mentor more junior Engineers;
• Develop technical competencies through hands-on work with experienced colleagues.

• Experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team;
• Deep technical expertise in frontend engineering;
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable frontend systems using modern frameworks, ideally React;
• Demonstrable impact in previous roles;
• Highly driven and proactive, with the ability to independently overcome obstacles and pursue excellent outcomes;
• Meticulous approach and obsessive attention to detail;
• A STEM degree is probably expected, but an equivalent alternative path is accepted.
