Frontend Developer

ING is an international bank that provides retail banking services and develops digital products, including AI-driven frontend solutions and scalable web architecture.

• Shape and scale AI-driven frontend strategies and solutions;
• Develop, test, and maintain core web libraries, components, and WebComponents;
• Manage and optimize Global Frontend Pipelines, including deployment-as-code, CDN deployments, and NFM feeds;
• Contribute to the further development and improvement of Frontend Architecture within Touchpoint;
• Act as a Blue Security Champion by conducting risk assessments and ensuring security;
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, contribute to a realistic team roadmap, and coach and support fellow engineers.

• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering/frontend development and working within Agile organizations;
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript core and internals and the Node.js ecosystem;
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for AI and motivation to build AI-driven products and solutions;
• Experience with WebComponents and frontend build tooling such as Webpack and Rollup;
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, preferably Azure DevOps, CDN deployments, and release procedures;
• Familiarity with design patterns, including SPA and SSR/SSG with Next.js;
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools such as TDD, BDD, Mocha, Chai, Selenium, and Karma;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
