Engineering Manager - Brand Experience

Much like a rollercoaster, life at Betsson Group is fast-paced, full of twists and turns, and always exciting. With more than 2,800 colleagues representing over 75 nationalities across a global network of offices - including 1,500 at our operational headquarters in Malta - every day brings new challenges and opportunities to grow. It may not be for the faint-hearted, but if you thrive on innovation, enjoy pushing boundaries and want to be part of a diverse, international team, then you’ll fit right in at Betsson.

The Wow

As an Engineering Manager at Betsson Group, your primary responsibilities will be geared towards building and leading high-performing engineering teams, meaning a lot of your focus will be on our most important asset – our people! You will work closely with your product, architecture and design counterparts on the planning and scoping of the product and technical development roadmap, where you will be accountable for the engineering teams’ delivery. You will also be expected to take ownership and responsibility for the technical stability and performance of the applications under the tutelage of your teams.

• Leading the Team: Build and lead well structured, highly functional teams with a culture of ownership and collaboration, driving excellence in hiring, onboarding and career development while removing anything that holds the team back
• Delivery and Quality: Be accountable for delivering on time and to a high standard, using clear performance metrics to track progress and drive continuous improvement of team and development processes
• System Health and Support: Promote ownership of system health, performance and stability, ensuring effective support processes are in place and SLAs are actively monitored and met
• Leadership and Collaboration: Be an active member of the area's leadership team, working closely with Product and Architecture to align the team with strategy, standards and business goals, and sharing best practices with engineering leaders across the organisation

Great to have:

We offer numerous challenges where your skills will be put to good use! We encourage innovation, independence and celebrate success where you will be part of multi-cultural and diverse company, with people from all over the world.
