Database Developer - MongoDB

As a Senior Database Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and scaling database solutions that support high-impact, mission-critical systems. Working closely with developers and database administrators, you'll help ensure performance, reliability, security, and availability across our cloud-based data platforms. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in MongoDB while expanding your experience with AWS, cloud technologies, and modern database architectures. • Design and implement high-performance MongoDB solutions for demanding workloads.
• Manage and optimize AWS RDS MySQL/Aurora environments with a focus on scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Support database deployments and orchestration within Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
• Partner with developers to create efficient data models, queries, and indexing strategies.
• Manage database schema versioning and deployment processes using GitHub and Flyway.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Datadog.
• Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness across database environments.
• Support database migrations and interoperability across different relational database platforms.
