Lingaro provides data, AI, consulting, technology advisory, design, learning technology, and intelligent operations services. Its Data Science & AI team delivers optimization and operations research solutions, primarily for supply chain projects serving major FMCG companies.

• Deliver projects in optimization and operations research, from POCs to scaling existing solutions, mainly in the Supply Chain domain;
• Apply CRISP-DM methodologies across business understanding, data understanding and preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment;
• Apply linear, integer, and nonlinear programming and heuristics to find optimal business solutions;
• Act as a Lingaro ambassador on external client projects;
• Deliver technical work based on business requirements, including data processing, feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and presentation of findings;
• Identify areas for improvement proactively;
• Follow competency and company delivery standards.

• Have 5+ years of relevant professional experience;
• Have commercial experience demonstrated through successful data science projects;
• Have experience with optimization methodologies and optimization libraries such as CPLEX, Gurobi, and ortools;
• Have strong Python coding skills, experience with ML libraries, and basic SQL knowledge;
• Have experience with feature engineering techniques and/or external data sources for forecasting problems;
• Have experience with cloud technologies, especially MS Azure;
• Understand the theory behind various machine learning concepts;
• Have experience delivering CRISP-DM projects and working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban;
• Have experience in client-facing roles, especially with external clients;
• Have great communication skills;
• Have advanced English skills;
• Nice to have: R, SQL, and Python programming including object-oriented programming concepts; practical knowledge of GenAI; experience applying Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain; business requirements gathering and transformation into technical plans; data processing, feature engineering, model evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment; Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud technologies; strong statistical and mathematical background; model operationalization using VMs; experience in matrix organizations; relational databases; GCP/AWS experience.
