Data engineer & power BI developer

At Planck Technologies, we are recruiting a Data Engineer & Power BI Developer to join a project in the data area, focused on developing Data Engineering solutions in Azure and creating dashboards and reporting in Power BI. We are looking for a profile that combines knowledge of data engineering and transformation with solid experience in Power BI, capable of turning business requirements into metrics, indicators, and insights that support decision-making.

• Develop and maintain Data Engineering solutions in Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Create and optimize dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Develop data models, DAX measures, and business indicators.
• Work on data transformation, integration, and modeling for use in Business Intelligence solutions.
• Contribute to Azure Cloud projects, namely in Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Ensure data consistency, quality, and reliability.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear metrics and indicators.
• Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders, ensuring that the solutions developed meet users’ needs.

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Solid experience in Power BI, namely:
• Development of dashboards and reports.
• Data modeling.
• Creation of DAX measures and formulas.
• Performance optimization.
• Experience with BI/Reporting tools and a focus on the end user.
• Solid knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, data transformation, and modeling.
• Experience in Azure Cloud Data Lakehouse projects.
• Knowledge of integration with modern data platforms.
