Backend developer java for AEM platforms

At Planck Technologies, we are recruiting a Senior Backend Developer Java (AEM) to join a challenging project focused on developing and evolving large-scale platforms and corporate websites. This role will play an important part in developing digital solutions that serve as communication and marketing tools and as sales channels for products and services. We are looking for a professional with strong Java backend development experience, the ability to design application solutions, and technical autonomy, who enjoys working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary Agile environment.

• Develop and evolve backend solutions in Java, integrated with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM);
• Participate in the design and implementation of application solutions, following software architecture and development best practices;
• Develop and integrate SOAP/REST APIs and WebServices;
• Contribute to the evolution of platforms and corporate websites;
• Collaborate in resolving technical problems, analyzing incidents, and optimizing applications;
• Work in coordination with multidisciplinary teams, particularly Marketing, UX, and IT;
• Participate in Agile team ceremonies and work practices;
• Use generative AI tools to support the development cycle, always ensuring technical validation of the results;
• Contribute to the documentation, quality, and continuous improvement of the solutions developed.

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields;
• At least 3 years of experience in Web development, preferably in corporate environments and large-scale projects;
• Solid experience and a high level of application development skills in Java;
• Ability to analyze and design application solutions, applying software architecture best practices;
• Experience developing and integrating APIs and SOAP/REST WebServices;
• Knowledge of application architecture in complex environments, particularly Microservices and SaaS solutions in the Cloud;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban;
• Good communication skills, autonomy, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Use of generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalents, to support Java code development and refactoring;
• Use of AI to create unit and integration tests;
• Using AI to support the analysis of logs and stack traces, and troubleshooting Java/Web applications;
• Use of AI to produce and maintain technical documentation;
• Ability to critically validate generated results, ensuring quality, security, privacy, and compliance with internal AI usage policies.
