ASOS is a fashion and technology company whose platform is used by millions of people. Its Digital Data Engineering team builds scalable data solutions across the ASOS Digital domain and supports product teams with data-driven insights.

• Design and deliver data solutions using the Microsoft Azure Data Platform;
• Collaborate with engineers through pairing, code reviews, and shared problem-solving;
• Support teams in understanding data, telemetry, and operational issues;
• Explore new tools and approaches through proof-of-concept work, including performance, data modelling, and cost considerations;
• Work with Lead Data Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Solution Architects to develop and improve engineering standards and practices;
• Build reliable, well-tested, maintainable, and automated solutions through modern CI/CD tooling;
• Contribute to an agile, cross-functional team and take shared ownership of delivery quality;
• Stay curious about emerging data technologies and identify opportunities to apply them where they add business value.

• Experience delivering data solutions end to end;
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills;

• Understanding of how to build reliable, well-tested data systems;
• Experience with Azure data technologies such as Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Data Factory;

• Experience with Azure Databricks and/or Apache Spark;
• Experience with reporting or visualisation tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or similar platforms;
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, including automated build, test, and deployment pipelines;
• Experience with version control systems such as Git;
• Exposure to Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban;
• Awareness of cloud and on-premises infrastructure considerations.
