Build and maintain robust data ingestion scripts for APIs, servers, and files, including retries, incremental and idempotent loads, and graceful error handling;
Build and maintain dbt staging and mart models with clear naming, documentation, and automated tests;
Extend and troubleshoot Airflow workflows by adding tasks to existing DAGs and fixing failed runs;
Add and monitor data quality checks for freshness, volume anomalies, nulls, and duplicates;
Investigate data discrepancies reported by stakeholders;
Write clean code and maintain useful READMEs;
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate drafting while verifying correctness before production deployment;
Build ownership of data modelling, testing, and pipeline reliability as a foundation for broader engineering responsibilities.
требования
1–2 Years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a closely related discipline;
Collaborative problem-solving experience;
Solid Python and SQL fundamentals;
Experience with Git, basic automated tests, and HTTP APIs;
General understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure concepts;
Hands-on experience with dbt, including staging and mart layers, sources, tests, and documentation;
Understanding of workflow orchestration, Airflow, DAGs, task dependencies, scheduling, retries, and idempotency;
Experience with relational databases or data warehouses such as Postgres or Snowflake;
Ability to write queries, design schemas, and handle data quality issues;
Curiosity, openness to asking for help, and willingness to receive constructive feedback;
Ability to rigorously test and verify logic, including AI-assisted code, before deployment;
