• Design and build core data models that remain resilient as source systems and business definitions evolve;
• Develop and operate reliable ELT/ETL pipelines on the Azure and Databricks stack;
• Shape the data architecture together with the team;
• Embed data governance in practice through lineage, quality, and clear business ownership;
• Mentor junior/medior peers.

• 4+ Years of data engineering experience with demonstrable ownership of end-to-end pipelines from design through production;
• Strong SQL experience;
• Strong data modelling skills;
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering, including orchestration, transformation, and testing;
• Solid experience with a major cloud platform; Azure preferred;
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and ADF or equivalent;
• Working knowledge of data governance in practice, including lineage, quality, and clear ownership;
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows;
• Comfortable working in a scrum team;
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into data products or pipelines;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: Dutch.
