Data engineer in financial services

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations. This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work in this project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field;
• More than 9 years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience with Spark, Scala, Hadoop, Hive, Python, SQL, Linux and Oracle;
• Solid experience in development in bigdata, CI/CD;
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts;
• Familiarity with Source Code Management (Git), XL Release and XL Deploy.
• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
• Positive and collaborative mindset;
• Ability to work in an international and distributed team;
• Autonomy, organization and prioritizing skills;
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge;
• Innovative thinking and proactive attitude;
• Будет плюсом: Optimization and performance improvement experience will be a plus; Knowledge of French is highly valued (but not mandatory)
