Data engineer in cloud transformation

• You are responsible for designing and conceptualizing modern data platforms that integrate and process large volumes of data from systems at scale.
• You also advise renowned clients on cloud transformations and agile software projects.
• You migrate existing applications to the cloud using Lift & Shift / Lift & Reshape approaches.
• You implement tools and solutions to ensure data quality, clean data and provide aggregated data for analysis.
• You support presales activities, including presentations, pitches and complex customer inquiries.

• Please note that a work permit for Germany is required for this position.
• Language: German - business fluent (C2), English - conversational (B1-B2).
• You have several years of professional experience in software development, particularly in data-driven projects, data warehousing or building data platforms.
• You have knowledge of developing pipelines and data integration workflows (ELT/ETL, Azure Data Factory, DBT, stored procedures or similar tools).
• You are familiar with data modeling and, depending on the area, have experience with Data Vault, Data Mesh, Kimball or Inmon.
• You are a team player, proactive, and enjoy working independently and in a solution-oriented way.
• You have extensive experience with Linux and networking, and have internalized security best practices.
• You have experience designing and delivering training sessions.
• You are willing to work on-site at least twice a week during the onboarding period.
