data engineer for sales and finance reporting

Procter & Gamble develops consumer products and operates a global IT and Product Supply organization. The role supports a European reporting product used by Sales and Finance teams across Europe.

• Design, build, and operate an end-to-end data product from data ingestion through business-ready outputs;
• Develop and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Azure, including transformations, business logic, and data quality controls;
• Shape and implement the reporting layer as reporting needs and tools evolve;
• Partner with Sales and Finance to translate business questions into reliable, scalable data solutions;
• Work with Data Scientists and analysts to enable analytics and advanced use cases;
• Ensure solutions are production-ready through documentation, monitoring, and continuous improvement;
• Contribute to team ways of working, engineering best practices, and knowledge sharing within the Europe IT Community.

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering;
• Experience building reporting layers;
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines;
• Experience applying data transformations and business logic;
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, GCP, or AWS, including setting up solutions from scratch;
• Ability to work in cross-functional, business-facing environments;
• Experience collaborating with Data Scientists and data analytics specialists;
• Strong SQL skills;
• Nice to have: Databricks, Spark, PySpark, modern data platforms.
