Data engineer for rail operations

• As a Data Engineer, you develop data pipelines and data integrations for different source systems together with the team.
• You support the development and operation of cloud-based data solutions in AWS and continuously expand your cloud expertise.
• Model and transform data: You ensure that it is reliably available and suited to the needs of various business applications.
• You actively contribute to developing backend services and interfaces and support the processing and provision of data.
• Keep quality in focus: With tests, code reviews and high standards for code and data quality, you contribute to stable solutions.
• You analyze errors in data flows, get to the bottom of their causes, and support the stabilization and further development of our systems.
• Teamwork is essential: You contribute your ideas to technical and business discussions and learn to translate requirements into suitable solutions together with the team.

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
• You have already gained some initial practical experience in software development, data engineering or data processing.
• You are familiar with Python or a comparable programming language and have good SQL skills.
• You are enthusiastic about data pipelines, cloud platforms and distributed systems, and want to develop your expertise in this field, both professionally and technically.
• You work in a structured way, learn quickly, solve challenges pragmatically and actively seek to exchange ideas with the team.
• You are characterized by a sense of responsibility and team spirit, and enjoy gradually taking on more responsibility.
• You communicate confidently in German at a near-native level (C2) and are fluent in English.
