• Own data pipeline development end-to-end, spanning data modeling, testing, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics;
• Contribute to engineering and coding best practices as part of an engineering team;
• Work with the product team leveraging core technology platforms;
• Collaborate in architecture discussions and architectural decision-making to improve and expand the platforms;
• Deliver high-quality data pipelines and tools through system analysis, feature requests, peer reviews, test automation, and QA collaboration;
• Introduce new tools and practices to improve data and code quality, including researching third-party tools and libraries and developing in-house solutions;
• Support data pipelines through exception handling, monitoring, and debugging production issues;
• Work with large volumes of data and multiple data sources;
• Analyze data quality and collaborate with client data and IT teams to resolve issues;
• Build global data products that power a major Digital Commerce transformation;
• Influence architecture and engineering practices;
• Collaborate with international teams to solve complex business challenges at scale.

• 5+ Years of experience designing and building systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale;
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with client and onshore personnel and understand Enterprise Information Management requirements;
• Very strong analytical skills with the ability to research and make decisions based on day-to-day and complex customer problems;
• Hands-on experience handling large data sets and using Python, PySpark, SQL, Hive, and Impala for data analysis;
• Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach to work;
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
• Deep understanding of database design and engineering;
• Self-starter with a bias for action and quick iteration on ideas and concepts;
• Strong interest in proving out ideas and technologies through rapid prototyping;
• Ability to interact well across various engineering teams;
• Team player with excellent listening skills, openness to ideas and new perspectives, and the ability to lead brainstorming sessions and elicit input from team members;
• Ability to reformulate highly technical information into concise, understandable terms for presentations;
• Nice to have: Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Financial Services.
