• Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines
• Extend Palladio with reusable integrations, processing capabilities, and validation rules
• Improve data correctness and recovery, including retries, replay, schema evolution, and duplicate handling
• Develop safe table maintenance capabilities and improve processing and storage efficiency
• Own delivery through testing, code reviews, monitoring, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting
• Contribute to technical design decisions and support other engineers

• Strong Scala and SQL skills
• Hands-on experience running Spark workloads in production
• Solid software engineering practices, including modular design, clear interfaces, automated testing, and maintainable code
• Good understanding of distributed systems, streaming state, checkpointing, and failure recovery
• Experience with lake house table formats, data integration, and analytical data modelling
• Ability to investigate difficult problems, explain trade-offs, and take ownership from design through production
