data engineer for autonomous mobility

MOTOR Ai develops Level 4 autonomous systems, combining AI with multidisciplinary expertise to bring a certifiable autonomous mobility solution to European roads.

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to prepare, transform, and deliver data for AI and machine learning use cases
• Ensure training and inference data is correctly structured, versioned, and accessible to AI Engineers and Data Scientists
• Implement monitoring and validation checks to ensure the quality, consistency, and freshness of data feeding AI systems
• Build and improve internal tooling to automate recurring data preparation and pipeline tasks
• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Perception, and Data Infrastructure teams to align on data formats, access patterns, and pipeline requirements

• A degree in computer science, data engineering, data science, or a comparable field, or equivalent vocational training/apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline. Hands-on experience counts at least as much as formal qualifications
• 6+ Years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, and information systems, and maintaining live/production systems, including on-call and standby duty
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with solid general database knowledge
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch, including larger-scale setups, and experience training neural networks
• Experience working with large data volumes and hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure setups
• Experience with data annotation and collaborating with external service providers
• Ownership mindset, pragmatic hands-on problem-solving approach, and good communication skills for close collaboration with AI Engineers, Perception, and Data Infrastructure
• Fluent English
