Data Engineer

All Your BI is a remote-first data agency based in Rotterdam. Since 2019, it has grown from a boutique consultancy into an international data team of more than 60 people across Europe. The company delivers managed BI services for logistics and industrial companies, helping reduce data waste and move businesses forward.

• Build and own the Azure data platforms used by client accounts, including SQL Server, Databricks, and end-to-end pipelines;
• Design maintainable data models using Kimball dimensional modelling where appropriate;
• Challenge unclear requirements and propose better alternatives;
• Turn complex and messy data problems into solutions that clients and teammates can understand;
• Consider the impact of the work on the client, not only the immediate ticket.

• 5+ Years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable data platforms and pipelines in production environments;
• Hands-on experience across the Azure stack, including SQL Server and Databricks;
• Experience building data platforms rather than only connecting existing components;
• Strong knowledge of Kimball dimensional modelling;
• Focus on the business impact of delivered work, not only shipped code;
• Ability to explain genuinely complex topics to teammates and non-technical clients without requiring translation;
• At least one role where you stayed long enough to deliver something real;
• Recent evidence of continued learning, such as a new tool, certification, or self-directed idea;
• Honest and constructive communication, with the ability to challenge unclear decisions and offer alternatives;
• Nice to have: IT education, solid software-engineering foundations, functional programming, object-oriented programming, Data Vault, logistics or industrial data experience, Dutch.

• €5,000 Per year for personal professional growth;
