Data Engineer

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for orchestration;
• Implement dbt Core for data transformation and modeling;
• Create and maintain dimensional and relational data models for analytics and reporting;
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across squads;
• Work with Snowflake for data storage and computation, including performance tuning;
• Use GitHub for version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD automation;
• Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives);
• Collaborate closely with product owners, data analysts, and BI developers;
• Assist in creating semantic layers and supporting BI tools, mainly Power BI;
• Perform exploratory data analysis and provide insights when needed;
• Maintain clear documentation for pipelines, models, and processes;
• Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field;
• 5+ Years of experience in data engineering roles;
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema);
• Hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, dbt Core, and Snowflake;
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines;
• Background in ETL/ELT design, data quality frameworks, and performance optimization;
• Basic experience with Power BI and data visualization;
• Capability to perform data analysis and interpret business requirements;
• Flexibility to work in agile product mode across multiple squads, with exposure to agile methodologies and product-centric delivery;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency;
• Nice to have: Experience in data governance, metadata management, and data security, Knowledge of cloud architecture and cost optimization.
