Data Engineer

• Analyze and understand data using SQL, Spark, and Python;
• Design and implement data architecture and framework solutions in collaboration with the team;
• Develop cost-effective, reusable, and self-service data flow processes for business units;
• Map data from source systems to reporting systems;
• Participate in key data projects to facilitate cloud migration;
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and implement optimal solutions;
• Integrate data quality controls into developed solutions;
• Collaborate with business units to design optimal data flows;
• Communicate with key stakeholders regarding data tasks.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake);
• Experience with data processing and access languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Abinitio, Scala);
• Knowledge of reporting and analytical technologies (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, SAS);
• Experience with framework development and ensuring optimal data delivery from various sources;
• Ability to design data architecture and maintain high code quality;
• Experience working with large datasets;
• Proactive approach to proposing new solutions and broad perspective on project challenges;
• Strong prioritization and communication skills;
• English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher;
• Nice to have: Databricks or Azure certifications, engineering competency certificates, experience in on-prem to cloud migration (specifically Databricks and Azure), experience in analytical work building ETL, DWH, and Data Lake processes.
