Data engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support our client's product and reporting features
• Integrate and automate data collection from various APIs to ensure seamless data flow into our infrastructure.
• Create and optimize data views to enable effective product development and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to ensure that data solutions meet business needs and objectives.
• Ensure data quality, data integrity, and scalability within our data environment.
• Provide technical guidance on data architecture and best practices for handling large volumes of data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and pipeline failures in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineeringand integrate them into our processes as applicable.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases and Data Lakehouse concepts.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data pipeline design, and data integration.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, Amazon Athena
• Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow, including hands-on experience in designing, scheduling, and managing data pipelines and workflows.
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Familiarity with API integration and handling data from third-party sources.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for automating infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
