Data engineer

The Data engineer will be responsible for designing data schemas, modelling data structures, managing releases, performing data migrations, monitoring databases’ performance, trouble-shooting problems and supporting in all data and data infrastructure related activities The technical stack is composed of Ab Initio for data virtualization, processing, governance and orchestration, Dataiku for Data Science, and Tableau/Power BI for reporting and data visualization

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across data assets
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to support business insights
• Deliver automated, scalable, production-ready solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Document data pipelines, processes, and solutions
• Conduct code reviews

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in IT and/or Data Analytics
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
