Data engineer

We’re seeking a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join our growing team! You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data architectures and pipelines, working across batch, streaming, and cloud technologies like Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Databricks, and AWS. • designing, building, and maintaining scalable data architectures and pipelines
• You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, and software engineers.
• designing new data models
• maintaining pipeline performance
• deploying scalable data solutions to the cloud
• contribute to architectural discussions
• optimize complex SQL workflows
• improve CI/CD pipelines for data engineering
• experiment with complementary technologies like Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) or advanced analytical engines

• In this position, you will need to have three to eight years of hands-on experience, with strong knowledge of SQL, Spark, and Apache Airflow, and proven experience with AWS and Databricks.
• Proven hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-intensive software engineering role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and deep understanding of relational and non-relational database architecture
• Solid experience with distributed processing and orchestration platforms, specifically Apache Spark and Apache Airflow
• Hands-on experience with real-time streaming architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Practical experience working with AWS cloud platform services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Glue) and Databricks
• Good understanding of software engineering best practices (version control with Git, testing, CI/CD pipelines, modular design)
