The company is an established SaaS organisation with approximately 40 employees, including around 20 engineers.

• Lead the engineering organisation and create an environment where teams can deliver with greater clarity, ownership and predictability
• Translate company strategy into a clear technology roadmap and execution model
• Strengthen alignment between Product and Engineering
• Improve delivery predictability, prioritisation and ownership
• Professionalise engineering processes and ways of working
• Build a scalable technology organisation for the next phase of growth
• Coach and develop engineering leadership and teams
• Ensure technology investments translate into measurable business outcomes
• Review team structure, capabilities and future capacity requirements
• Make pragmatic build-versus-buy decisions
• Explore how distributed or international engineering capacity can support future growth
• Balance speed, quality, scalability and technical sustainability

• 10+ Years of experience in software and technology
• Previous experience as CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering or in a comparable senior technology leadership role
• Experience in a SaaS or software product environment
• Experience leading and developing engineering organisations of approximately 15–30+ people
• Track record of professionalising technology organisations during a growth phase
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud environments and modern engineering practices
• Experience bringing Product and Engineering closer together
• Pragmatic perspective on engineering processes, team design and delivery
• Ability to challenge technical decisions without being a day-to-day developer
• Strong communication skills and experience operating as part of a Management Team

• Base salary between €125,000 and €150,000
