Sigma Software develops software solutions, while the customer operates in the pharmaceutical and life sciences domain. The customer develops computational modeling solutions and a platform for storing, visualizing, and analyzing scientific models used in pharmaceutical research and drug development.

• Design technical solutions and write robust code;
• Develop new features and components, refactor, debug, and maintain software;
• Conduct peer code reviews and follow engineering practices;
• Perform unit and integration testing;
• Analyze requirements and prepare detailed feature designs;
• Create technical documentation;
• Participate in conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the customer;
• Participate in SAFe estimation, grooming, and planning sessions.

• 3+ Years of commercial software development experience;
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Solid experience with Node.js and NestJS;
• Proven production experience with Next.js;
• Good understanding of scalable API design principles;
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases;
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with NATS.io or similar event-streaming technologies;
• Experience integrating IAM/SSO solutions such as Keycloak;
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and service-to-service communication;
• Understanding of application security best practices;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams;
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills;
• Proactive and self-driven mindset;
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment;
• Attention to quality and engineering standards;
• Ownership mindset and willingness to contribute beyond assigned tasks;
• Nice to have: experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences domains, experience with Python and R, experience with scientific or analytical platforms, knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven environments, experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems, understanding of data visualization solutions.
