• Own backend problems end to end;
• Model complex compliance and business identity behavior;
• Represent regulatory requirements and legitimate data sources faithfully in the system;
• Bring the policy engine closer to real onboarding journeys;
• Build infrastructure that standardizes varied and exception-heavy business identity processes;
• Shape product and technical decisions with broad ownership;
• Question requirements before implementing solutions;
• Manage priorities and time autonomously;
• Make pragmatic decisions without over-engineering.

• Strong backend fundamentals and real production ownership;
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, compliance, or similarly high-stakes systems;
• Experience with rule-heavy domains rather than high-throughput systems;
• Clear communication skills;
• Comfort moving between domains with significant autonomy;
• Ability to reason from first principles;
• Ability to work effectively in an evolving domain where conclusions may need to be revisited;
• Nice to have: event sourcing experience.
