• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET / .NET Core;
• Develop new services and integrate them with existing systems and platforms;
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and database performance optimization;
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications, services, and databases;
• Design solutions capable of handling large volumes of data and high transaction loads;
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues, including time-sensitive incidents in live systems;
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code following established software engineering practices;
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests;
• Participate in code reviews and improve development standards and engineering practices;
• Collaborate with QA, Product, DevOps, and other engineering teams;
• Make independent technical decisions and take ownership of complex technical challenges;
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

• 5+ Years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development;
• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; relevant professional experience may be considered as an alternative;
• Advanced knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core;
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and common design patterns;
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services, including integration with existing services and systems;
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server;
• Experience with SQL query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and large datasets;
• Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core or similar ORM technologies;
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and parallel processing;
• Good understanding of principles for building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems;
• Experience with unit and integration testing and code review practices;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues;
• Good knowledge of Git and standard software development workflows;
• Ability to independently make technical decisions and solve complex technical problems;
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Product, QA, and other technical teams;
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced engineers;
• Good command of English;
• Nice to have: experience with Redis, RabbitMQ or similar message brokers, Docker and containerization, microservices architecture.
