Backend developer in banking

Irium is a leading company in the implementation of Information Technology Solutions and Systems for more than eighteen years. We are currently looking for a Backend Developer to join a challenging technology project.

• Develop and maintain applications.
• Identify good practices and produce technical documentation.
• Follow up with junior developers, distribute tasks and monitor deliverables.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and production support teams.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Solid experience with Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience in developing and integrating APIs.
• Knowledge of Git and messaging systems (Queue Messaging), namely Kafka or equivalents.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies.
• Good communication skills, autonomy, proactivity, analytical thinking and team spirit.
• Будет плюсом: Professional experience in the banking sector; Knowledge of document management, OCR and GenAI; Experience with Cloud platforms, namely Azure and AWS; Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development

• Hybrid arrangement — Lisbon (2 days on-site and 3 days remote per week).
• Availability within 30 days, preferably sooner.
• Gross monthly salary: €1,400–€1,600 per month.
