konfetti is a booking platform and software for local workshops, offering over 13,000 experiences in Germany, Austria, and online through more than 3,000 providers.

• Own backend features end to end, from initial analysis through deployment and monitoring, including the partner-facing booking software (Backoffice);
• Shape the architecture by identifying product constraints, proposing directions, and implementing solutions;
• Work across service boundaries, data models, queues, integrations, and performance;
• Improve monitoring and address technical debt proactively;
• Use AI tooling as a core part of daily work, including outside the primary specialization;
• Identify edge cases early based on production experience;
• Collaborate with engineers, the designer, and product lead in standups, planning, and technical discussions.

• Several years of production backend experience, ideally with PHP/Laravel;
• A track record of building systems that other people still run;
• Strong architecture judgment supported by practical experience and an understanding of past decisions;
• Solid experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, CloudFront, and Bedrock;
• Experience with AI-assisted development, including Claude Code or Cursor;
• A maker mindset and a can-do attitude;
• Confidence to challenge existing approaches while understanding their context;
• Honesty about areas of uncertainty.
