Its Creator Graph processes more than 250 million social posts daily across more than 15 million creators worldwide, unifying fragmented platform data for creator relationships, performance, governance, and commerce.

• Develop a deep understanding of the existing PHP monolithic codebase and progressively extract it into modular, service-oriented components;
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, testable, and reusable backend services in PHP and Node.js;
• Design and maintain robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs;
• Lead refactoring efforts that improve performance, readability, and long-term maintainability of core systems;
• Build, deploy, and operate services on AWS, including Lambda and API Gateway;
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure reliability across releases;
• Critically review, validate, and improve AI-generated code;
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement across the platform;
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly in writing and through short video walkthroughs;
• Collaborate effectively across a remote, async-first, cross-timezone team.

• 5+ Years of professional backend engineering experience;
• Expert-level PHP experience with enterprise-grade, production systems;
• Strong backend experience with Node.js;
• Hands-on experience refactoring or decomposing monolithic architectures into modular services;
• Strong background in API design, including REST and GraphQL, and backend architecture;
• Experience with AWS, particularly Lambda and serverless patterns;
• Experience writing testable code and maintaining automated test suites;
• Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or Cursor within VS Code or PhpStorm, including critically reviewing and refining AI-generated code;
• Fluent English, written and spoken;
• Highly proactive and self-directed, with the ability to communicate effectively and unblock yourself in a remote, async-first environment.
