Backend Developer

AppsFlyer provides a platform for mobile marketing analytics and attribution, enabling businesses to measure and optimize their marketing campaigns. The company manages large-scale data pipelines and develops business service layers to deliver actionable insights to customers.

• Own and evolve the Data Warehouse;
• Develop products and features end-to-end from design to production;
• Work with petabytes of data flowing through pipelines;
• Solve complex problems at scale with low clarity of the solution approach;
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver value;
• Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, and stability of products, environments, and tools;
• Evaluate new technologies to perfect products and adapt to growing scale.

• 3+ Years of development experience;
• Experience in JVM languages;
• Hands-on background with production systems;
• Experience in building APIs for server-client applications;
• Strong SQL knowledge;
• Ability to grasp new languages, systems, and frameworks fast;
• Team player with the drive to lead others;
• English for work and correspondence;
• Nice to have: Experience in Clojure, exposure to large-scale distributed databases or enterprise data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.), software system design experience, experience in building ETLs using Spark Scala, familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent, recommendation by an AppsFlyer employee.
