• Develop, test, and maintain backend products and services;
• Run high-impact A/B and multivariate testing experiments at scale, analyze results, and deploy changes;
• Implement solutions to technical problems identified by the product team;
• Design and implement backend server architectures;
• Monitor and optimize performance of existing systems;
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure successful product delivery;
• Implement security best practices to protect customer data;
• Improve development processes;
• Stay updated with latest trends in backend and cloud development;
• Work with the support team to optimize and automate support flows.

• 5+ Years of Ruby on Rails development experience in a production environment;
• Experience with scalable development and deployment;
• Experience with cloud deployment, operations, and optimization;
• Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools;
• Experience with database and query optimization;
• Experience with algorithm design;
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices;
• Understanding of DevOps principles and best practices;
• Experience with RESTful APIs;
• Knowledge of security best practices for web and mobile applications;
• Experience with Git and agile methodologies;
• Experience with automated testing frameworks;
• Experience with database scaling, including partitioning and sharding;
• English B2/C1 (fluent);
• Nice to have: Experience working with social apps, experience working at startups, ML/AI, performance optimization.
