Backend Developer

Nelly Solutions develops an AI-driven financial operating system for European healthcare, transforming administrative processes into automated workflows for patient care, billing, and payments. The company aims to address the shortage of medical professionals by streamlining practice management through intelligent software.

• Design and build ingestion pipelines to pull data from third-party PMS systems into the core data model;
• Own backend services in TypeScript/Node.js on AWS;
• Evolve the canonical data model used by product teams;
• Build MCP servers and AI tooling to expose core data to internal agents and LLM-powered workflows;
• Partner with product teams to triage and resolve ingestion issues.

• 8+ Years of backend-leaning experience;
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js;
• Deep experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and third-party integrations including queues, retries, idempotency, and schema evolution;
• Strong data and API modeling skills;
• Experience with AWS in production;
• Nice to have: healthcare or fintech data experience, event sourcing, MCP/LLM tooling experience.
