• Host weekly live sessions focused on design and decision layers, including service splitting, system scaling, failure analysis, and architectural tradeoffs;
• Run group office hours and 1:1 sessions for students working on projects and the capstone;
• Review student projects including architecture dossiers, deployed backends, cloud infrastructure, performance reports, security reviews, and distributed-system capstones;
• Provide architectural feedback by identifying unsound design decisions, incorrect interfaces, or unrealistic scopes and explaining better paths;
• Run mock architecture review boards and simulated executive-panel presentations with structured, senior-level critique;
• Set technical standards for supporting instructors and act as an escalation point on design and architecture calls.

• 5+ Years as a senior software/systems architect, platform engineer, or senior backend/infrastructure engineer;
• Experience designing and shipping systems at scale in a real company;
• Depth in system design, API and service architecture, cloud and infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD), and distributed systems;
• Ability to explain decision-making processes and diagnose/critique architecture live;
• Strong technical communication skills for leading live sessions and writing clear feedback;
• English C1+;
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day technical work.
