• Own the strategy, technical direction, delivery, and production quality of data infrastructure features from discovery to rollout;
• Understand user pain points regarding blockchain data access, latency, correctness, and reliability;
• Translate product and platform needs into clear specs, epics, user stories, and rollout plans;
• Build backend and data systems using Go and/or Rust;
• Design and improve indexing, caching, validation, benchmarking, and repair workflows for large-scale blockchain data systems;
• Utilize AI-first development practices to accelerate research, implementation, and testing;
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams to gather context and make trade-offs;
• Define and analyze technical and product metrics such as latency, throughput, and error rates;
• Create internal tools, benchmarks, dashboards, and alerts to improve system observability;
• Review code, specs, and designs with a focus on maintainability and performance;
• Conduct technical research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement.

• 5+ Years of professional software engineering experience in backend, data, infrastructure, or distributed systems;
• Strong production experience with Go, Rust, or comparable backend/systems languages;
• Experience owning complex engineering work end to end, including requirements, design, implementation, and release;
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, data modeling, concurrency, queues, storage, and caching;
• Hands-on experience with databases and SQL, including schema design and query performance;
• Experience with performance-sensitive systems, including benchmarking, profiling, and capacity planning;
• Proficiency with cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, and observability platforms;
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants or agentic development workflows;
• Ability to write high-quality technical specs, proposals, and runbooks;
• Strong product sense with the ability to connect technical work to user impact;
• Excellent written and verbal English;
• Nice to have: Experience with blockchain infrastructure, blockchain data, RPC APIs, archive data, indexing, node operations, high-volume data pipelines, event streaming, workflow orchestration, analytical databases, object storage, spec-first workflows like RFCs or ADRs, building internal tools, diagnostic CLIs, benchmark suites, repair workflows, operational automation, familiarity with AI tools for research, documentation, data analysis, code generation, verification, experience working in infrastructure teams with direct ownership of reliability and performance outcomes.
