Applied AI/ML engineer in education

Our client, Healthcademia, an international Higher Education Group built around a network of trusted healthcare institutions across Europe and Latin America is seeking a new Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to build and progressively internalize their applied AI engineering capability. • Prototype and validate AI product concepts
• Build critical AI product components
• Own AI quality and evaluation
• Operationalize AI solutions
• Integrate AI into the Healthcademia environment
• Provide technical assurance over partner delivery
• Secure knowledge and intellectual property transfer
• Support responsible AI implementation.

• Significant professional experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, applied AI
• Direct experience building AI or generative AI applications that have been deployed into production
• Experience using AI frameworks and services, such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Hugging Face or equivalent technologies
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure or AWS
• Strong product judgement and ability to evaluate commercial AI tools and models
• Professional level English language proficiency is a must.
