angular for reinsurance risk management

The client is a reinsurance and risk management company delivering solutions across insurance, underwriting, and data-driven risk assessment. It helps clients address complex risks and create sustainable value in a changing global landscape.

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript;
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and reusable user interfaces;
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable UI components and component libraries;
• Implement accessible user interfaces using SCSS, design tokens, semantic HTML, and accessibility best practices;
• Develop reusable frontend components with Kendo UI for Angular;
• Write maintainable, performant, usable, well-designed, and testable frontend code;
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Jasmine/Karma and contribute to the transition to Vitest;
• Implement and maintain end-to-end tests with Playwright;
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to turn design and business requirements into technical solutions;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend standards, reusable patterns, and continuous improvement of UI architecture;
• Contribute to technical documentation, including frontend standards, component documentation, and implementation guidelines;
• Work with Agile Scrum teams and follow Agile principles and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or a similar field, or equivalent work experience;
• At least 5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer;
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript;
• Experience with Kendo UI for Angular and reusable UI components;
• Experience implementing pixel-perfect Figma designs;
• Strong knowledge of SCSS, design tokens, semantic HTML, and web accessibility principles;
• Experience developing and maintaining reusable UI components or component libraries;
• Experience with state management solutions, particularly NGRX;
• Experience with Jasmine/Karma and familiarity with Vitest;
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing;
• Experience with npm and Git;
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills;
• Very good spoken and written English;
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams;
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment;
• Nice to have: Advanced Kendo UI for Angular and enterprise UI component library experience, design systems and shared frontend component libraries, migration from Jasmine/Karma to Vitest, advanced accessibility testing and WCAG standards, .NET technologies or backend API integrations.
