angular for grocery delivery

Buymie is an Armenian/Irish co-founded tech company that provides grocery delivery services across Ireland. It operates an online marketplace connecting customers with personal shoppers who purchase and deliver items from local stores, using data-driven insights to improve the online shopping experience and adapt its operations and technology.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript;
• Build modern Angular applications with standalone components, Angular Signals, dependency injection, routing, and reactive forms;
• Implement reactive and asynchronous application logic using RxJS and modern reactive programming patterns;
• Apply Angular performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and optimized change detection strategies;
• Leverage Angular Signals and modern reactivity patterns to build efficient and maintainable applications;
• Develop and maintain internationalized applications supporting multiple languages and locales;
• Build, maintain, and optimize applications using server-side rendering to improve performance and user experience;
• Work with Angular Universal and modern Angular SSR architecture;
• Apply zoneless Angular and modern change detection approaches where appropriate;
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket-based services;
• Ensure applications follow best practices for frontend security, accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility;
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code following established frontend development standards;
• Use Git and modern development workflows within an Agile/Scrum environment;
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions;
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and development planning;
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and application defects;
• Design scalable solutions and contribute to complex technical initiatives and frontend architecture improvements;
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern Angular practices and technologies to improve development efficiency and application quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• 5+ Years of experience with Angular, preferably with the latest versions;
• Strong understanding and experience with RxJS;
• Experience with TypeScript and strong knowledge of JavaScript principles;
• Solid understanding of browser working principles and security concerns;
• Understanding of REST principles and associated technologies;
• Experience with Angular Universal and server-side rendering;
• Experience developing responsive applications;
• Working knowledge of Git;
• Active interest in staying up to date with new technologies, frameworks, languages, and other developments;
• Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing.
