• Develop and implement individual features from scratch with high-quality code;
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define and implement user-facing features;
• Integrate RESTful APIs into the Android app;
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and refactor code to maintain high quality;
• Troubleshoot issues reported by users or identified through testing;
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of the Android application.

• 3+ Years of experience in Android development with Kotlin;
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose;
• Understanding of modern app architecture using MVI and Clean principles;
• Experience with dependency injection using Dagger;
• Familiarity with custom navigation approaches;
• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs with OkHttp;
• Good knowledge of coroutines and reactive flows using Kotlin Flow;
• Practical experience writing unit and integration tests with Mockito and JUnit;
• Experience with Git-based workflows; Salmon uses GitLab with automated release trains every 3 weeks;
• Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools including Amplitude, Firebase, and Splunk;
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to collaborate with product, QA, and design teams.
