Android developer in digital banking

Andersen is hiring a Android Developer for a project developing a digital banking SuperApp and delivering secure, scalable mobile banking services, payment functionality, and seamless integrations. Our customer is a well-established financial institution offering a broad range of banking products and services to individual and corporate clients.

• Developing and maintaining Android functionality for the SuperApp, including features related to external partner integrations.
• Integrating third-party APIs and services into the Android application.
• Implementing networking, authentication, data transformation, error handling, and integration-related business logic.
• Developing scalable and maintainable Android components in accordance with established architectural standards.
• Collaborating with backend developers to define and implement API contracts and integration flows.
• Writing unit and UI tests and participating in code reviews to maintain application quality.
• Investigating and resolving functional, performance, and integration issues across different iOS versions and devices.
• Working closely with QA, Android, Java, DevOps, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.

• Commercial experience in Android development using Kotlin for 3+ years.
• Experience working on banking and fintech solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern Android development practices.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and external third-party services.
• Good understanding of mobile application architecture, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar approaches.
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming, networking, JSON serialization, and error handling.
• Experience with Git, Gradle, dependency management, CI/CD, and Android application release processes.
• Understanding of mobile security principles, secure data storage, authentication, and protection of sensitive financial information.
• Experience with unit/UI testing, debugging, performance optimization, and supporting applications across different Android versions and devices.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
