Andersen’s project is developing a modern mobile banking application that provides secure and convenient access to financial services, streamlines everyday banking operations, and improves the digital customer experience. The customer is a leading financial institution serving retail and corporate clients through a large-scale digital ecosystem.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance native Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
• Design and implement mobile application architectures based on MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture, using Jetpack components
• Integrate and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services to communicate with backend systems
• Implement asynchronous data processing and lifecycle-aware state management with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
• Build and optimize local data storage solutions that support offline-first functionality and data synchronization
• Ensure software quality through unit, integration, and UI testing
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Agile development processes
• Apply Android security best practices, including secure data storage, certificate pinning, and protection of sensitive information
• Monitor and optimize application performance using profiling and diagnostic tools

• 4+ Years of professional experience developing native Android applications
• Expert proficiency in Kotlin and solid working knowledge of Java for Android development
• Strong knowledge of modern Android and Jetpack architecture, including Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, and lifecycle-aware state management
• Experience with Jetpack components such as Room, Navigation, and WorkManager
• Strong experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow, including lifecycle-aware state management
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, with networking libraries such as Retrofit and OkHttp and JSON serialization tools
• Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger and modular app architecture
• Experience with local data persistence using Room, SQLite, and DataStore, and offline-first application design
• Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, or MockK
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Agile methodologies, code reviews, and performance profiling and optimization tools
• Strong understanding of Android security best practices, including secure storage, certificate pinning, and handling sensitive data
• English at Intermediate+ level or above
