Bir is an innovative financial institution in Azerbaijan that develops digital banking solutions for millions of users.

• Support the team in Android application development;
• Participate in the enhancement and improvement of existing features;
• Implement simple tasks and resolve/fix bugs;
• Participate in and learn from the code review process;
• Review technical documentation and assist in its preparation.

• Solid foundation in Kotlin (syntax, null safety, data classes, lambdas, extension functions);
• Conceptual understanding of OOP and SOLID principles;
• Basic understanding of fundamental algorithms and data structures;
• Clear understanding of Activity/Fragment lifecycles and configuration changes;
• Knowledge of Context differences (Activity vs. Application);
• Basic hands-on experience with XML layouts, ViewBinding, and Jetpack Compose;
• Familiarity with RecyclerView and adapters;
• Experience working with Intents, navigation, permissions, and the AndroidManifest;
• Understanding of resource management (drawables, strings, dimens);
• Basic understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and Kotlin Flow;
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON format;
• Familiarity with Retrofit and OkHttp libraries;
• Conceptual understanding of at least one architecture pattern (MVVM or MVI);
• Basic understanding of Dependency Injection concepts and Hilt or Dagger;
• Nice to have: Familiarity with the MVI architecture pattern, basic understanding of Modularization principles, hands-on familiarity with Dagger 2, basic knowledge of Unit Testing.
