Android Developer

Salmon is a fintech company that provides financial services and operates as a licensed bank, aiming to develop a financial super app for users in the Philippines.

• Develop and implement individual features from scratch with high-quality code;
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define and implement user-facing features;
• Integrate RESTful APIs into the Android app;
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and refactor code to maintain high quality;
• Troubleshoot issues reported by users or identified through testing;
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of the Android application.

• 3+ Years of experience in Android development with Kotlin;
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose;
• Understanding of modern app architecture: MVI + Clean principles;
• Experience with dependency injection (Dagger);
• Familiarity with custom navigation approaches;
• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs with OkHttp;
• Good knowledge of coroutines and reactive flows (Kotlin Flow);
• Practical experience writing Unit/Integration tests (Mockito, JUnit);
• Experience with Git-based workflows;
• Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools (Amplitude, Firebase, Splunk);
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
