AI platform engineer in financial crime

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to help shape and scale Nordea's enterprise AI platform, enabling AI-powered solutions that strengthen our ability to detect and investigate financial crime. Our role is to improve how we detect and investigate financial crime through advanced data, machine learning and AI solutions, helping to keep our customers, Nordea and society safe.

• Design, build and evolve enterprise-grade AI platform capabilities supporting predictive, generative and agentic AI use cases.
• Drive technical leadership across engineering, architecture, data science and security teams to ensure successful platform adoption and operational excellence.
• Define engineering standards, production-readiness requirements, governance models and operational frameworks for AI solutions.
• Translate strategic AI ambitions into scalable platform capabilities, technical roadmaps and implementation guidance.
• Ensure platform resilience, security, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance through effective risk, incident and access management.

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience designing, building and operating large-scale cloud-native platforms and production-grade applications in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and familiarity with other major cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on software engineering experience with Python and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.
• Experience with AI and machine learning platforms such as Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, AgentCore and modern enterprise data platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and manage stakeholder relationships across complex organisational environments.
