Ai integration engineer for business systems

Oroox is a software company headquartered in Liechtenstein, with international development teams. Our Manufacturing Commerce Cloud helps manufacturers automate quoting, ordering and the workflows surrounding production. We are introducing AI into our internal operations and product ecosystem. We are looking for an AI Integration Engineer who can connect systems, build reliable workflows and deliver tools that make everyday work easier.

• Build integrations with Microsoft 365, Jira or Jira Service Management, Nextcloud and our internally developed CRM.
• Develop backend services, API connectors, webhooks and background processing jobs.
• Create pipelines for retrieving, processing and indexing documents and business information.
• Implement AI-assisted search and knowledge retrieval with source references and permission-aware access.
• Build workflows for support triage, reply drafting, meeting follow-ups and the preparation of customer requirements.
• Use structured model outputs and tool calling to connect AI applications with business functions.
• Implement validation, approval steps, retries and error handling.
• Add logging, monitoring and tests so integrations remain reliable.
• Work with users to assess usefulness and improve workflows after release.
• Document integrations and support their ongoing operation.

• Professional experience in backend development or systems integration.
• Strong development skills in Python, TypeScript or another relevant backend language.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, SQL and data transformation.
• Experience building an LLM-powered application or integrating a model API into software.
• An understanding of retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs and common model limitations.
• Experience with Git, automated testing and deployment workflows.
• Careful handling of credentials, personal information and company data.
• Professional English and the ability to clarify requirements with technical and business colleagues.

• Confidential company and customer information must be protected and excluded from provider model training.
• Workflows must make their actions understandable and provide human review where required, particularly before external communication or changes to important business records.
