• A technical leadership mindset with high agency and proactive drive;
• 8+ Years of experience building and operating backend systems in production;
• Strong Python skills;
• 3+ Years of experience shipping LLM/GenAI features to users, including RAG, tool use, planning, agent frameworks such as MCP, and multi-agent systems;
• Strong ML fundamentals and hands-on experience in model evaluation and self-evolving agents such as Memory;
• Deep expertise in distributed systems design, including API architecture, data modeling, high-throughput async systems, event-driven architectures, caching strategies, and performance optimization;
• Advanced retrieval engineering experience with embeddings, sophisticated chunking strategies, hybrid search algorithms, schema/metadata design, knowledge graphs, comprehensive evaluation frameworks, and production monitoring;
• Experience with cloud-native development at scale;
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences;
• Nice to have: TypeScript for integration work, GCP, Dagster, Airflow, Prefect, technical writing, open-source contributions, speaking at industry events, fluent German.
